About the Author

Dylan McConnell (aka “Dyldebeest”) is a Rhetoric and Communication Design graduate student in his 6th term of study at the University of Waterloo. He spent May-December 2010 as a co-op student at OpenText Corporation in Waterloo, ON, where he remains employed as Customer Care Coordinator.

In 2009, he completed his BA-English degree, with minors in History and Philosophy, at the University of Alberta, Augustana Campus.

In terms of gaming, Dylan generally favours sports games such as those found within EA Sports’ NHL, Madden NFL and Tiger Woods PGA series. However, he also enjoys first-person shooters like Halo and Gears of War, tower-defense/strategy games like Age of Empires and Toy Soldiers, flight simulators like Ace Combat, and he is a huge fan of the recent Arkham Asylum video game.
